4.3 magnitude quake rocks Kashmir

An earthquake of 4.3 magnitude on the Richter scale rocked the Kashmir valley, forcing people to rush out of their homes in panic this morning. Head of the disaster management in Kashmir Aamir Ali said the tremors were felt at 0449 hrs this morning. Its epicentre was near Xinjiang 
China border, about 247 km north-east of Leh and 458 km noth-east of Srinagar, he added.

  1. Thanks God the magnitude was not very severe. There is a need to run Emergency and Disaster Management programs in quake vulnerable areas.
