Cyclone Aila with winds upto 120km/hr battered our Eastern Coasts, uprooting trees, flooding villages, snapping power cables and leaving a trail of destruction behind. There are thousands of homeless people who need clean drinking water, food, medicines and shelter urgently.

Victims of Cyclone Aila Need Your Help
This is an hour we all should come together and show our wholehearted support for the cyclone victims. It is critical that the immediate needs such as food, drinking water and medicine are provided to those affected.
Corporate Disaster Resource Network Marketing (CDRN) Team has been active and is in continuous touch with various relief agencies working in West Bengal such as Udyama, Catholic Relief Services, Save the Children, SPADE, WWF, Ramakrishna Mission, Action Aid, IGSSS, Mukti, INSS, Child in Need Institute (CINI), DRCSC, HCWS, Mukti India, KJKS, Caritas India, Nav Bhartiya Nari Vikas Samiti who have posted their specific needs at our Network. We have received around 105 needs on our Network.

“Aquatab, company manufacuring water purification tablets has sent more than 1 million water purification tablets in West Bengal affected regions through various international Relief agencies working the affected regions”, Vijay Mallick , country Manager Aquatabs told CDRN team.
“Breakout of water born diseases is a major concern in the Aila affected regions now. Storm-hit areas are now facing shortage of portable water ; the condition of women and children is miserable as medical assistance is inadequate especially in the Sunderbans area. People in storm affected areas have lost all their assets and are selling their domestic animals for of some money” Ansuman Das Director Sabuj Sangha told to CDRN team.

Corporate Disaster Resource Network (CDRN) is a web based Humanitarian Relief management system that helps Relief, Response agencies and Government to access and feed in real time information on products and services required and offered for emergency humanitarian relief. The Corporate Disaster Response Network, (CDRN) has been launched under the Auspices of the Corporate Task Force of the National Disaster Management Authority, (NDMA) and is an initiative of CSO Partners and Aidmatrix.
