SUPPORT THOSE AFFECTED IN BIHAR STORM


UPDATE FROM CORPORATE DISASTER RESOURCE NETWORK (CDRN)


Thunderstorm accompanied by rain lashed Patna, Sran, Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Jehanabad, Janui, Munger, Darbhanga, East Champaran, West Champaram, Kaimur and Rohtas districts causing widespread damages to houses, crops and uprooting hundreds of trees, the sources said.

According to media and government sources 8 deaths were reported from Kaimur, followed by 4 from Nalanda, 2 each from Gaya, Nawada and 1 in Rohtas.

Power supply and BSNL connectivity were disrupted and rail traffic affected in large parts of Bihar.
